LIFE VISION 2

Hello there and welcome to this broadcast

In my earlier post today, I had told you of the vision I had when I was a young boy and which helped me today to be what I am.

I also did tell you that unless a man has a vision for the life that he is living, he is more or less a passer by.

Here's another story of a man who had a vision for his life

I am not at liberty to name him but you may recognize him from the story

His Father died when he was 3 years of age, he was the 7th child of the parents and the 4th son. As at the time his father died, his eldest brother was in Primary 5 and the responsibility of fending for the children fell on his mother. Their pitiable condition was not even looked upon by his Uncles as they connived to rip his mother of all the properties including land that his father had left behind.

His eldest brother only completed the Primary School and went ahead to learn a handwork - tailoring
When he was 6 years old, his mother enrolled him in the only Primary School in his village, but he couldn't go beyond Primary 3 because of hardship, but as young as he was when he dropped out of school in Primary 3, he told himself that he was going to win the war of life and that nothing was going to discourage him from making it in life.

As young as 10 years of age, he was apprenticed to a Maternal Uncle who was into Spare parts trading and he was with him for 8 years as an apprentice and when he was due to be freed from the apprenticeship, his Master and Uncle died suddenly, so he was not assisted to establish as other apprentices have it done for them.

He became a join man with one other Master, but this time, he would find a market and supply on credit courtesy of that Master and then when payment is made, he would take his profit and give the main money to the Master. This he did for 6 years and saved enough money to take off on his own.

He was hardworking, pragmatic, proactive and honest and these paid off as he made tremendous progress by dint of hard work. Soon people started giving him goods on credit and he would pay them as soon as the money is paid and he never cheated anyone.

From one shop, he opened a second one and then started taking in apprentices and within 6 years he had more than 10 shops spanning the whole of Lagos, He was on the verge of building an empire, he was rich.

At 32 years of age, he had what even most persons who went to school did not have and also got married that same year. On the eve of the wedding ceremony when his story was being told, tears of joy fell copiously from his eyes and he was glad that God has dealt fairly with him who was despised and forgotten even by those who were in a position to assist him when he needed their help.

His only regret was that His mother did not live to enjoy the fruit of her labour.

Now, that is what a man who has a vision achieves

How about you?

What is your own story?

You can share it with us but if per adventure, you don't have a story to tell, we can help you get a vision for your life.
